Undertaken at the request of Greets Green Partnership. SCIPS managed a maintenance and servicing programme designed to extend the working life of security equipment fitted to private dwellings through an earlier programme.
SCIPS worked closely with Greets Green Partnership, a firm of local contractors and local residents to ensure burglar alarms fitted under this previous programme remained in useful working condition.
So successful was this servicing programme that it was extended to include the fitment of a new batch of alarms into private dwellings within Greets Green.
As a result of SCIPS prudent financial management, we were able to offer residents who had these alarms an extended free maintenance period - going further than originally envisaged by the funders.
Many vulnerable home owners and private tenants in Greets Green benefited and were made more secure in their homes as a result of this collaborative project.
