| On being granted
Charitable Status in 2003, we felt that our then current mission
statement no longer truly reflected the range or depth of the
work being undertaken by our organisation. This view was further
reinforced when we began work on our forthcoming new Business
Plan (due to be published during the winter of 2004). |

| We recognised at
this stage that a new Mission Statement would effectively act
as a key guiding document in the development of the new Business
plan over the forthcoming months. |

| We firmly believe
this new Mission Statement presents a clear and concise presentation
of our aims and objectives, whilst at the same time providing
an insight into the range of services we have to offer. |

is a non-political, independent, charitable organisation led
by Sandwell residents. |

offer facilities, skills and expertise to provide a range of
high quality services, and a link for all communities to consult
on local, regional and national, Housing and Regeneration issues. |

enabling communities to influence and affect change." |
