A music festival is being held in Smethwick at the end of the month.
It has been organised by the Smethwick Youth Council together with the Dorothy Parkes Centre and the Friends' of Victoria Park.
The festival is being held in the park on Auguist 31, from 12 noon to 6pm.
Spokesman Ash Lewis said: "This is a unique event as the youth council have done all the planning."
"The Dorothy Parks Centre and the Friends' of Victoria Park are providing adult supervision and a budget."
He said the youth council had held a series of auditions to select acts for the festival.
"The audition also served as an opportunity for the youth council to practise and gain an understanding of event management," he added.
