UK registered charities and not-for-profit organisations seeking financial assistance for their projects can apply for funding
from the Charles Hayward Foundation. The Foundation offers two types of grants:
main grants and small grants. The main grant applications are considered four times a year – in February, May, July, and November, offering a structured timeline for applicants. The small grants, on the other hand, are reviewed on a rolling basis, providing more flexibility for those in need of quicker funding solutions. However, it is important to note that the small grant programme is currently closed to new applicants and is set to reopen in January 2024 with revised guidelines and funding priorities. The grants provided by the Foundation are designed to support projects across various sectors, including:
