Sandwell’s School Nursing Service is offering free healthy lifestyle drop-in sessions for young people.

The sessions are open to children aged from five up to 19 and their parents or carers.

Sandwell Council’s cabinet member for public health and protection Councillor Elaine Costigan said: “The sessions are a really useful way for parents and children to get advice on healthy eating, physical activity and anything else they have questions about to do with the health of their sons and daughters.”

The sessions take place at:

* Cape Hill children’s centre, Corbett Street, Smethwick – 24 September, 26 November and 28 January (2019), 12.30-3.30pm

* Priory children’s centre, Dorsett Road, Wednesbury – 25 September, 27 November and 29 January (2019), 1-4pm

* Springfield children’s centre, Dudley Road, Rowley Regis – 26 September, 28 November and 30 January (2019), 1-4pm

* Greets Green children’s centre, Claypit Lane, West Bromwich – 28 September, 30 November, 1 January 9.30am-12.30pm. For more information call 0121 612 2974.
