SMBC have been asked to host a joint event with TPAS and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG).
MHCLG have approached TPAS to help organise a series of regional roadshows to engage directly with tenants on several current consultations within the sector.
A date has been agreed to host this event in Sandwell on Thursday 4th September 2025 at Gayton Road Community Centre, West Bromwich B71 1QS and the session would run for approximately 4 hours from 10.30am to 2.30pm .
Topics will include key consultation areas such as:
• Social Housing Renewal (Delivering a Decade of Renewal)
• Decent Homes Standard
• Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES)
• Rent Convergence
Tickets are limited and on a first come basis and they are looking at 50 delegates.
Lunch and refreshment will be provided.
