Over the last few months, SWEDA have either delivered or facilitated various accredited training projects.
These have been either I.T based in Microsoft Office, in conjunction with eDCC, Prince’s Trust and UK Online. Employability courses in conjunction with NOCN / OCNWMR and BCTG. First Aid, Health and Safety and Food and Hygiene courses in conjunction with Highfield Training and Sandwell Council’s E4E project.
The culmination of these training courses resulted in SWEDA holding an awards giving ceremony on Friday 19th July 2013 at their premises in Church Street, West Bromwich. There were over 30 recipients of certificates to present the awards were Sue Burton from OCNWMR, Wayne and Albert Barrett from SESEC, Alix Drysdale, Enterprise Officer Accord AddVentures, Gurjit Heer Manager Barclays Bank West Bromwich and Mille O’Connor SWEDA Board Member and founder of Millie’s Foundation.
SWEDA’s CEO Davinder Kaur believes that today is all about celebration, firstly celebration our clients achievements who have worked hard to gain these qualifications. Many of them have since moved on into employment, further education or towards setting up their own business. Secondly, celebrating SWEDA who after many years of internal qualifications we are now very happy to be award certificates in conjunction with different accredited educational bodies.
