Paul Hamlyn Foundation Ideas and Pioneers Fund (UK) - Deadline: Rolling

The Ideas and Pioneers Fund from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation (PHF) provides grants of up to £15,000 to support people with a vision of a better society to explore their ideas for change.

The Fund seeks to support:

• Applications that focus on early stages of exploring ideas. This will mean that your activities will help you figure out the things you don’t know. This might include testing, scoping, research, prototyping and piloting.

• Innovative ideas. Ideas or approaches that are new to the contexts in which you’re hoping to work in or the issue you’re hoping to change.

• People who have the potential to create change. Someone who understands the area they want to work in and the people they want to work with, and who has a vision to help build a better society.

Applicants can be individuals or groups of up to three people to charities, social enterprises or limited companies of up to five employees. The Foundation is particularly keen to welcome first time applicants, those aged between 18- 30 and people who are most affected by systemic oppression and/or discrimination. This means Black, Asian and other groups who experience racism. Deaf, disabled and neurodiverse people who experience the effects of ableism, those who identify as sitting at the intersections of several minoritised identities as well as people experiencing poverty. You do not have to have a registered organisation to apply to this fund. However, the proposed idea must have clear public benefit or charitable purpose.
