Allen Lane Foundation (UK) – Deadline: Quarterly
The Allen Lane Foundation provides grants of
between £500 and £15,000 to small voluntary not-for-profit organisations, where the work:
• Will make a lasting difference to people’s lives,
• Is aimed at reducing isolation, stigma, and discrimination,
• Encourages or enables unpopular groups to share in the life of the whole community. Priority groups (of adults) that the Foundation seeks to support includes:
• Asylum seekers and refugees,
• Gypsies and travelers,
• Migrant communities,
• Offenders and ex-offenders,
• Older people,
• People experiencing mental health problems,
• People experiencing violence and abuse.
The Foundation aims to help organisations to become sustainable, supporting running and core costs to enable them to have flexibility, security and longevity.
The trustees meet quarterly in February, May, August and November so applications for each quarter need to be received by the beginning of those months.
