Co-op Community Fund (UK, Isle of Man) – Deadline: 11th June 2023
Grants are available for small voluntary and community groups to support projects
that benefit local communities centered around Co-op Food Stores and funeral homes across the UK or the Isle of Man.
The Co-op Local Community Fund will fund projects that:
• Bring people together,
• Help to improve people’s mental wellbeing,
• Create opportunities for young people to be heard and make a difference,
• Help people to save and restore nature or tackle climate change. Groups that can apply include:
• UK registered charities,
• Scout, Guide, or Woodcraft Folk groups,
• Social enterprises,
• Church or chapels that are 'excepted' charities,
• Co-operative societies,
• Credit unions,
• Community benefit societies,
• Community Interest Companies (CIC),
• Any other groups that can prove they’re not run for private profit. The level of funding allocated to each local community is determined by the number of Coop members who choose to shop with the Co-op.
