European Youth Foundation (The) Pilot Activity Grants to Support Young People from Ukraine (UK/Europe) – Deadline: 31st October 2023

The European Youth Foundation (EYP) has launched a special call to

support young people from Ukraine affected by the war. Non-governmental youth organisations in the UK

and other Council of Europe member states can apply for grants of up to €15,000 to cover the costs of a pilot activity. Activities must be designed for, support, and involve young people, and could include peer to peer learning and support, training and workshops, information and counselling, youth workers and youth leaders, and meetings of young people from Ukraine. Project applications will be assessed based on the EYF criteria for pilot projects. A successful project will:

• Be a youth activity prepared, run, and managed by a local, regional, or national nongovernmental youth organisation and involving young people from Ukraine.

• Be an activity that supports young people from Ukraine affected by war in their daily life, rights, and to navigate the challenges and access their rights,.

• Be an activity related to local need and that brings an added value to the lives of young people from Ukraine,

• Follow the basis principles of youth work, in particular of intercultural dialogue and understanding, and the promotion and protection of human rights and democracy,

• Be in line with values of the Council of Europe and its priorities in the field of youth. Applications to this call for EYP Pilot Activity Grants can be submitted at any time until 31st October 2023, or until the funds are exhausted.
