The Charles Hayward Foundation is inviting applications for funding from
UK registered charities working in the areas of social and criminal justice. Charities with an annual income of between £350,000
and £4 million can apply for grants of up to £25,000 through the main grants programme for projects lasting one to three years. In addition, the Foundation’s Small Grants programme, which focuses on social and criminal justice and older people, will award grants of up to £7,000 to charities with an annual income of less than £350,000. The small grant programme is a rolling grant programme. Applications can be submitted at any time and are considered approximately every three months (usually in March, June, September, and December). The Foundation also has an overseas category as part of our main grants programme, which awards grants to UK registered charities with an annual income of between £150,000 and £4 million undertaking projects in the Commonwealth countries of Africa.
