Charities and CIOs led by and for Black, Asian, and minority ethnic

(BAME) communities will soon be able to apply for funding to help people experiencing economic inequity because of their race or ethnicity. The Lloyds Bank Foundation Racial Equity Fund will offer three-year unrestricted grants of up to £75,000 alongside development support to enable organisations to provide immediate and long-term support to help people from BAME communities break free from poverty.

The funding will support around forty organisations in England and Wales (outside of London) that understand the complexity of the issues people face and give them complete flexibility to use the funding however they see fit. Organisations must have an annual income of between £25,000 and £500,000. The programme will open for applications on 27th March 2024. The Foundation will hold a live webinar on 24th April 2024 to talk through the eligibility, programme, shortlisting and prioritising criteria for this programme and answer any questions live (sign up for this webinar by clicking here),
