Department for Transport (The) Big Bike Revival Programme (England) – Deadline: 25th June 2024
Local volunteer-led groups, social enterprises, and other not-for-profit
organisations can apply for grants of up to £3,000 to deliver cycling events to get people back on their bikes this summer. The programme will support organisations across England to deliver a summer programme of activity that will encourage people who do not currently cycle regularly (once every two weeks or less) to consider either starting or returning to cycling. This includes people experiencing:
• Social, economic, and health deprivation,
• People from diverse backgrounds,
• Those facing multiple challenges. The funding canbe spent on anything but supports the delivery of events such as staffing costs, consumables and venue or location hire.
