Comic Relief Community Justice Fund (Northeast England, Wales, West Midlands, and Yorkshire and Humber) - Deadline: 2 nd May 2024
Comic Relief has launched a new funding opportunity for organisations in Northeast England
, Eales, West Midlands, and Yorkshire and Humber that advocate for racial justice and gender justice in their local communities. The Community Justice Fund offers grants of between £200,000 and £450,000 over 3 to 5 years to organisations led by and for marginalised communities facing long term systemic injustices, discrimination, and exclusion based on their ethnicity and/or gender. The funding aims to support work that creates lasting change in the systems, policies, and practices that affect these communities.
This can include:
• Influencing and advocacy focusing on improved outcomes for communities,
• Early intervention services and support for communities, that influence practice, systems, and behaviour change,
• Or a combination of both. Applications from partnerships of up to three organisations are welcomed.
The funding opportunity is available for organisations with an annual income between £75,000 and £500,000. Comic Relief expects to inform organisations of the outcome of their application by Friday 25th May 2024.
