People’s Health Trust (The) Funding to Provide Advice Services for Marginalised Communities (England – Various Regions) – Deadline: 19th June 2024
Grassroots community organisations with annual incomes below
£500,000 can apply for grants ranging from £20,000 to £40,000 through the People’s Health Trust’s recently launched Advice for Health Fund. This fund was established to address the pressing advice needs of marginalised communities facing significant financial and social disadvantages and discrimination, aiming to enhance both mental and physical health outcomes.
The activity must be delivered in one of the four following regions of England:
• East: Cambridgeshire,
Essex,
Norfolk,
Suffolk,
• East Midlands: Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire.
• South East: Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Sussex, Isle of Wight,
• West Midlands: Birmingham, Black Country, Hertfordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire.
The grants can cover various expenses, including staff salaries, events, venue hire, small capital items, and organisational overheads. These funds are intended to support the delivery of advice services that can make a tangible difference in the lives of often overlooked and underserved individual.
