The Clara E Burgess charity makes grants to registered charities

where children are the principal beneficiaries of the work. Grants are towards the provision of facilities and assistance to enhance the education, health, and physical well-being of such children, in order that their conditions of life may be improved but having particular regard to children under the age of 10 and who have lost either one or both parents.

Within these boundaries grants can be made to following causes:

• Education/training,

• Overseas projects,

• Disability,

• Social welfare,

• Hospitals/hospices,

• Medical causes,
