Introduces Fund to Enhance Patient and Crew Support (UK)

Air Ambulances UK (AAUK) has announced that it will soon launch the AAUK Improving Outcomes Fund. The aim of the fund is to enhance support for air ambulance patients, their families, and the medical crews attending to critical emergencies.

This initiative, backed by founding partners HCC Solicitors and Slater and Gordon Lawyers UK, aims to provide essential aftercare services, thereby improving long-term outcomes for those affected by serious accidents.

Eligible air ambulance charities will be able to apply for grants ranging from £5,000 to £25,000. The fund will support:

• Patient aftercare support services,

• Dedicated crew support services,

• Dedicated support spaces for patients and/or crews,

• Outdoor reflection spaces for patients and crews.

More information on how to apply, and application dates, will be announced when the fund opens for applications.
