Sandwell residents encouraged to give feedback on consultation on pharmacies
Health chiefs are encouraging Sandwell residents to tell them what they think about a recently published report on local pharmacy services to help
develop services for the future. The Sandwell 2022 Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) draft report is now available for a 60-day public consultation period until Friday 8 July 2022.
The PNA is a report that assesses the pharmaceutical needs of a local population as well as the location and provision of pharmaceutical services. The report identifies whether there are any unmet pharmaceutical needs or gaps in service provision and produces recommendations to strengthen service provision.
Once the consultation period closes, feedback and comments will be considered and amendments made to the PNA as necessary. The Sandwell Health and Wellbeing Board will publish the final PNA report in October 2022.
