Free Connectivity to help charities tackle digital exclusion

Vodafone has launched Charities Connected, an initiative giving any charity in the UK the opportunity to apply for free connectivity to help individuals and families it supports get online and improve its own digital capability.

“Picture This” is suitable for complete beginners who are aged 55+ to learn how to get online and how to use an android tablet. We will provide 1-2-1 support based around whatever you wish to learn which may include some of the following:
- What can I do with the internet?
- Reminiscing – how to find old pictures etc.
- How to shop safely online
- How to find games and download them to play
- Booking appointments
- How to find information
- How to Skype
These 1-2-1 sessions will take place in your home. We will arrange a visit lend you a device that is internet ready to enable you to learn and practice on, and arrange a visit once per week with a learning mentor.
