Sandwell Pumpkin Picking returns for 2023
Sandwell Council’s Forge Mill Farm is once again offering families the chance to pick their own pumpkin
right up until Halloween. Access to Sandwell's ever popular pumpkin patch at Forge Mill Farm
is included in the standard ticket price and the patch operates on a "pay for what you pick" basis. As well as standard pumpkins, there will be large and monster homegrown pumpkins available to buy. You will also have the opportunity to explore the farm and trails, meet the animals and then warm yourself up with a hot chocolate. For weekend pumpkin picking, you can visit us on Saturday 30 September,
Sunday 1 October and every weekend in October. New for this year is the chance to also learn how to carve your pumpkin after school between Monday 16 October and Friday 27 October until till 6pm.
The little ones also do not have to miss out as we are holding toddler pumpkin picking with messy pumpkin play every morning between Monday 16 October and Friday 27 October from 10am. Pumpkin tickets for Monday 30 October and Tuesday 31 October will not be on sale until closer to the time in case we sell out of pumpkins.
Forge Mill Farm will be open during half-term, but our pumpkins may sell out before. Don’t miss out, book your pumpkin picking tickets now. Cllr Charn Singh Padda, Sandwell Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure and Tourism, said: “We know that this is an incredibly popular and fun annual event so we have expanded it from just pumpkin picking but also pumpkin carving. Come along and have some family fun before the nights really draw in.”
