Sandwell Children’s Safeguarding Partnership (SCSP) was established in April 2019
to ensure that there are local arrangements, policies and procedures applicable for all agencies to work together in partnership so all children in Sandwell are safe, happy, healthy and achieving.

More specifically, for voluntary, community and faith organisations, visit: https://www.sandwellcsp.org.uk/voluntary-community-and-faith-sector/ – a dedicated tab, which, amongst other guidance documents, includes access to a ‘policy and procedures’ template that will support with putting safeguarding measures in place or reviewing current practice.
If you have Safeguarding concerns about a child report it, using one of these numbers Safeguarding Training The SCSP offers a full suite of training courses available to those working with children, young people and /or families in Sandwell. Some courses are now delivered virtually, and others undertaken in venues across the borough.
There are also some eLearning modules/ courses available. All the training and eLearning modules can be accessed here: https://training.sandwelllscb.org.uk/ To access the training and eLearning modules you will need to register for an account – this is free, as is all of the training on offer.
However, a non-attendance charge will apply if you book on a course and do not attend or cancel your place less than 5 days prior to the training taking place. The Sandwell Safeguarding Adults Board (SSAB) is a multi-agency partnership made up of statutory organisations and other non-statutory partner agencies providing strategic leadership for adult safeguarding work and ensuring there is a consistent professional response to actual or suspected abuse. If you have Safeguarding concerns about an adult, REPORT IT using information at: Contact (sandwellsab.org.uk) Safeguarding Training Free Safeguarding training and eLearning modules are available for all partner organisations to access and for anyone who lives or works in Sandwell.
