As a ‘Non-for- Profit Radio station our aim will be to entertain and inform the community, combining music with news, sport and information about events, good causes and local services. We will use radio as a vehicle to develop people, using media volunteering and training as a way to build skills and confidence.

We would initially be operating online, with a view to making an application for a full FM license with the radio authority (Ofcom) later in 2013. We are looking for volunteers who are interested in working as part of community radio to join us in the exciting new venture.

At the moment we are interested in speaking to people who have experience in the following areas: Administration, Finance, Fund Raising, Sales, Community Engagement, Secretarial, Technical (Radio set up) Technical (PC set up)

We are also looking for volunteers as DSM's (Deputy Station Managers) and of course we will need Presenters.

This could be for a few hours a week or a couple of days. Please be aware, that these positions are strictly voluntary only.
