Football Foundation (The) Funding to Boost Multi-Sport Facilities (England) – Deadline: Rolling

The Football Foundation has announced its plan to commit approximately £92 million over the next three years, to multi-sport projects that support both football and an additional sport, such as rugby, cricket, netball, and basketball.

As part of this investment, the Foundation’s PitchPower app will now be available to community clubs, and organisations across cricket, rugby league, and rugby union, as well as football, to enable them to carry out their own sport-specific pitch inspections.

Once inspections have been completed, clubs and facilities are then eligible to apply for funding to support pitch improvements identified through the app. The commitment will also see the first Football Foundation PlayZones open in 2023 which will provide accessible outdoor facilities that bring communities together through football and a range of other sports.
