LUSH Charity Pots to Support Animal Protection, Environmental and Human Rights Groups (UK/International) – Deadline: Rolling
LUSH, the handmade cosmetics company, is offering funding to small not-for-profit organisations and campaign groups within the UK and around the world that are working in the areas of animal protection, the environment, and human rights.
LUSH Charity Pot grants award funding to ‘non-violent, direct action’ groups for projects that aim to create long-term change and are unpopular and often overlooked by other funders. They also prefer projects that stop abuse from happening in the first place.
For example, by funding a project that aims to stop deforestation rather than one that aims to plant trees to restore an area that has already been deforested. Grants of up to £10,000 are available with the average grant being in the region of £2,000 to £4,000.
Almost all the groups funded by Charity Pots have an annual income of less than £250,000 (most are substantially less) and run entirely or predominantly by volunteers. Applications can be made at any time.
