The British Gas Energy Trust has re-opened applications for its Individuals and Families Fund, offering grants of up to £1,700 to help households in England, Scotland, and Wales clear energy debt.

Small community groups, local charities and individuals can apply for grants of between £100 and £2,000 for equipment and to support projects that tackle loneliness amongst older people (65+) and adults with a disability (18+). The funding, which is being made available through the Barchester’s Charitable Foundation, supports actions that combat loneliness by connecting or re-connecting people with others in their local community.

Registered charities operating in areas in which Hays Travel operates can apply for grants from the Hays Travel Foundation. The Foundation offers funding between £2,000 and £15,000 which aims to support projects helping disadvantaged young people up to 25 years old in the areas of education, prevention of poverty, health, arts, culture, or sports.
