The Trust has been established since 1975, their core goal is to help small groups of people who are getting together to make a difference in their communities, on the whole they do not support big or established charities. They are especially interested in helping groups that are starting up and need a little seed money to help to get them going.

Any type of constituted not-for-profit, such as community and voluntary groups, charities, and CICs, with an annual income of £500,000 or less, can apply for grants up to £3,000 for projects that can be completed within one year and meet one or more of the following criteria:
