Any type of constituted not-for-profit, such as community and voluntary groups, charities, and CICs, with an annual income of £500,000 or less, can apply for grants up to £3,000 for projects that can be completed within one year and meet one or more of the following criteria

Local charities and community organisations can now apply for grants of £500 to £2,000 to support small-scale projects that improve the lives of local people and their neighbourhoods that rank as being within the top 15% on the English Indices of Deprivation.
The funding is available through the Grassroots Grants scheme, delivered by the environmental and regeneration charity Groundwork.
